Responsibilities include client account management, supporting business development, project management, resource forecasting and utilization, and development of direct reports.  How you can make an impact: <ul> <li>Perform high level bulk power system studies using various power system software.</li> <li>Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.</li> <li>Interact with Clients to seek input and address their needs and concerns with respect to the project(s) study scope of work.</li> <li>Direct and manage a team of electrical engineers to perform specific power system analyses including steady state, transient stability, short circuit, and/or EMT studies.</li> <li>Develop and grow the capabilities of engineers within the team and the larger organization.</li> <li>Perform advanced and specialized studies of the power grid utilizing industry standard analysis platforms such as PSS/e, PSLF, Powerworld, TARA, ASPEN, CAPE, and PSCAD.</li> <li>Assist in model development efforts including development of generation, load, transmission line and transformer models.</li> <li>Develop optimal system upgrade and constraint mitigation plans for identified system violations and issues.</li> <li>Develop and review transmission study methodologies and processes.</li> <li>Lead process improvement efforts identifying opportunities to enhance organizational efficiencies focused on maximizing team bandwidth while ensuring quality and timeliness of client deliverables.</li> <li>Support business development activities including development of RFP responses &amp; scope of work statements for clients, outlining EPE deliverables and projected completion dates.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed: <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a focus on Power Systems (advanced degree preferred)</li> <li>5+ years in the electric energy industry, with experience in power system studies, design studies</li> <li>Experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, TARA, CAPE, Aspen, and/or PSCAD (preferred).</li> <li>This role will manage/supervise a team of power system engineers ranging from 2 to 10 individuals.</li></ul>  How we support you:<ul> <li>Comprehensive health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, and vision with 100% premium coverage for you.</li> <li>Generous PTO and paid holidays</li> <li>Continuous Education Benefits</li> <li>Work with industry leaders</li> <li>401K, up to a 4% match (100% vested from day 1)</li> <li>Flexible Work including hybrid and remote possibilities base on position.</li></ul>  Location: This position is open to Remte US or CanadaTravel:  Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less) EPE is an equal opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran employer.
