The Buildings+Places division of AECOM is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate for employment out of the Markham, ON office.This role is expected to begin for either January or May 2026Major Responsibilities: <ul><li>A key member of the mechanical design team participating in design and construction administration of various facilities, including occasional out-of-town travel;</li><li>Design of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systems;</li><li>Perform Energy and HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (i.e. Carrier HAP);</li><li>Ability to use and create excel spreadsheets to assist with calculations and analysis;</li><li>Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation;</li><li>Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 3D such as REVIT;</li><li>Must be able to prepare written reports and deliver results in a clear manner to technical or non-technical persons;</li><li>Strong communication skills, spoken and written;</li><li>Experienced at using computers and utilizing Windows, e-mail, internet, MS Word, and Excel;</li><li>Able to work independently or as part of a team.</li></ul>
