POSITION SUMMARY Leads, directs, and controls the day-to-day activities of multiple plants to achieve short and long term financial and operating objectives set by organizational business plan. Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s) by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Assists Site Managers with business decisions and assists plants in the development of new processes and with new business opportunities.</li><li>Monitors revenues and costs at assigned plants.</li><li>Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.</li><li>Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.</li><li>Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.</li><li>Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.</li><li>Develop direct reports, particularly in the management techniques of planning, organizing, leading and controlling through continue coaching and feedback on performance.</li><li>Promotes Regulatory Compliance, Safety and Security initiatives across the entire team. Ensures stringent adherence to Regulatory Compliance, Safety and Security protocols and takes steps to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in these areas.</li><li>Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.</li></ul>
