Come build the future with us and apply directly to your dream job!POSITION SUMMARYAs a key member of our Human Resources department, the People Services Specialist will provides direct support to all levels of the organization acting as a front-line management contact and partner to employees and management in areas specific to staffing in recruitment and selection, policies and procedures, employee and labor relations, safety initiatives, and performance management and improvement programs.WHAT YOU WILL DO:<ul> <li>Coordinate and administers the recruitment and selection process including approvals, determining method of recruitment, preparation of job postings/advertisements, schedule and conduct interviews, reference checks, and prepare and negotiate employment offers</li> <li>Maintain recruitment database, track recruitment tasks and statistics of recruitment</li> <li>Maintain and update human resource information systems and benefit systems with employee data including new hire, classifications changes, wage/salary changes, and termination information</li> <li>Complete workplace investigations through the Human Rights Committee, management requests, etc.</li> <li>Support Group Safety and local team in Safety initiatives/reviews</li> <li>Program coordination and compliance.  Coordinate and administer employee meetings, orientation checklist, employee feedback and exit interview compliance, employee appreciation/recognition</li> <li>Assist with salary market analysis, benchmarks for new and existing position.  Ensure request to fill positions are in line with internal equity and industry standards within market</li> <li>Plan and execute employee engagement events throughout the year</li> <li>Assist in the development and rollout of required Human Resources policies and procedures.  Review of such policies and procedures for updates</li> <li>Provide labor relation support and guidance to leadership and employees</li> <li>Provide advice and guidance to employees and management regarding performance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline issues</li> <li>Maintain employee files and the filing of related correspondence into employee files including performance management and salary administration documentation</li> <li>Participate in committees within the organization related to Human Resources and employee engagement and culture</li> </ul> WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:<ul> <li>Post-secondary education in related human resources field or equivalent experience</li> <li>3+ years HR experience, with a focus on supporting employee and labor relations, recruitment/selection, and safety</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of HR legislation and labor laws</li> <li>Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish)</li> <li>Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decisions</li> <li>Ability to transition between task quickly and with focus</li> <li>High degree of attention to detail</li> <li>Experience working with ADP or similar HCM systems</li> <li>Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office</li> <li>Advanced problem solving and analytical skills are essential.</li> <li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements.</li> </ul> WHY JOIN US:<ul> <li>Competitive compensation and benefit package.</li> <li>401(k) plan with company match.</li> <li>On-the-job training provided in a continuous learning environment.</li> <li>Advancement opportunities with a growing company.</li> <li>Apart of a team who is leading the world’s electrification of mass mobility.</li> </ul>Our WhyWe move people.
