Maintenance Planning Engineer plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, optimizing maintenance resources, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the paint shop. You Will: <div>Maintenance Planning &amp; Scheduling <ul><li>Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all paint shop equipment (e.g., robots, ovens, booths, conveyors, pumps)</li><li>Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations </li><li>Plan and track predictive maintenance activities using condition monitoring tools and data </li></ul>Work Order Management <ul><li>Create, assign, and close work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) </li><li>Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and labor hours </li></ul>Spare Parts &amp; Inventory <ul><li>Monitor spare parts inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of critical components</li><li>Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability </li></ul>Technical Support &amp; Troubleshooting <ul><li>Provide technical support during equipment breakdowns and major repairs </li><li>Analyze root causes of recurring failures and recommend long-term solutions</li></ul>Continuous Improvement <ul><li>Participate in Kaizen, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs</li><li>Analyze maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, OEE) and implement improvement actions </li></ul>Compliance &amp; Safety <ul><li>Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards. </li><li>Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory compliance. </li></ul></div><div>You Bring: Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering. </li><li>3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in an automotive or industrial paint shop environment. </li><li>Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM). </li><li>Strong understanding of paint shop processes and equipment. </li><li>Knowledge of TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma principles is a plus. </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. </li></ul>Technical Skills: <ul><li>Experience with robotic painting systems (e.g., ABB, FANUC). </li><li>Familiarity with HVAC, air handling, and filtration systems used in paint shops. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities </li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Join Lucid Motors and be a part of the luxury electric vehicle revolution in the region!
