About this opportunityThe primary purpose of the Wash Line Operator role is to efficiently operate and maintain the wash line process machinery to process plastic waste into washed flakes as part of the production of high-quality recycled plastic resin. This involves ensuring the production process runs smoothly, meeting quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols.  <ul><li>Available shifts: Morning 6:00am to 3:00pm &amp; Night 10:00pm to 6:00am</li></ul>Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Operate and monitor the wash line process machinery to ensure efficient processing of materials. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the wash line equipment to prevent downtime. </li><li>Ensure that the washed plastic flakes meet the required quality standards by conducting regular inspections and the use of testing equipment. </li><li>Move bags of product and waste bins with electric pallet jack or similar. </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. </li><li>Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or discrepancies to the Shift Lead. </li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:<ul><li>Previous experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing environment is a preferred </li><li>Strong safety mindset and willing to speak up </li><li>Able to work autonomously and as part of a team </li><li>Physically fit and capable of manual duties including moderate to heavy lifting </li><li>SCADA experience an advantage </li></ul>
