The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of tasks to assist in all aspects of maintenance operationsPrimary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):<ul><li>Assisting other maintenance technicians with day to day tasks</li><li>Going to various locations to pick up or drop off parts for equipment</li><li>Moving vehicles to and from other facilities for routine maintenance</li><li>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment</li><li>Perform maintenance on trailers, tractors, tankers and other various equipment</li><li>Be able to rebuild/ Repair pumps and gearboxes</li><li>Keep a clean and pristine work area at all times</li><li>Wear proper PPE as required for the task being performed</li><li>Have the ability to perform minor metal fabrication as needed on equipment</li><li>Be able to utilize Welding equipment and use the appropriate PPE for the task.</li><li>Able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work unsupervised at times.</li><li>Utilizing a forklift in standard operations in the maintenance area.</li><li>Have knowledge on hydraulic/PTO systems used on tractors/ Trailers.</li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned</li></ul>Pay rate starting at $30.00 depending on experience.
