Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Ensure Product Quality &amp; Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and measure production outputs to meet or exceed customer expectations.</li><li>Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement corrective actions and improvement opportunities across processes and teams.</li><li>Optimize Testing &amp; Inspection Methods: Select and apply appropriate measurement techniques and equipment, including programming and operating Vision Measurement systems (Micro-Vu).</li><li>Manage Supplier Quality: Evaluate, audit, and monitor internal and external suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive corrective actions.</li><li>Handle Customer Complaints &amp; Claims: Investigate product quality issues, manage complaints, and communicate resolutions and corrective actions.</li><li>Support New Product Launches: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality requirements are met for new production, including PPAPs and FAIRs.</li><li>Coordinate Quality Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain databases such as SCAR and CCAR, and ensure accurate documentation of audits, inspections, and corrective actions.</li><li>Define and Maintain Quality Standards: Develop and apply quality control concepts, sampling plans, and performance metrics to prevent non-conformities and reduce waste.</li><li>Collaborate with Customers &amp; Suppliers: Act as a liaison for quality-related inquiries, investigations, and returns, ensuring timely and effective communication.</li><li>Support Visual Inspection Operations: Oversee and scale visual inspection workforce based on business needs and quality requirements.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience</li><li>1 to 3 years’ experience in quality with a production and manufacturing industry</li><li>Relevant certifications, system experience, and training</li><li>Professional-Level English language skills preferred</li><li>Mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Analytical skills.</li><li>Working knowledge of or ability to learn quality processes such as APQP, ISO, PPAP, 8D, 5Why, and continuous improvement programs such as 6Sigma and Lean. </li><li>Working knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Working knowledge of or ability to learn manufacturing processes, specifically related to rubber products.</li></ul> Communication &amp; Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
