As a Team Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth plant operations while empowering your team to deliver innovative and sustainable water technology solutions.Shift Hours:Monday - Friday: 2:30pm - 1030pm ESTCore Responsibilities<ul><li>Safety &amp; Quality: Follow all workplace safety policies and product quality guidelines.</li><li>Training &amp; Mentoring: Mentor and train Process Operators.</li><li>Team Coordination: Coordinate team activities, establishing daily expectations for safety, quality, and scheduling.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and conduct housekeeping/5S audits.</li><li>Permit Issuance: Issue Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hot work, and confined space permits.</li><li>Supervisory Duties: Perform floor supervisor duties in the supervisor’s absence.</li><li>Process Adherence: Read and follow documented processes and procedures.</li><li>Equipment Monitoring: Inspect equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operation.</li><li>Materials Handling: Load and unload deliveries to and from regional branches.</li><li>Documentation: Use computer systems to enter required documentation.</li><li>Troubleshooting &amp; Repairs: Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.</li><li>Plant Operations: Adjust and monitor plant operations through control systems.</li><li>Tools &amp; Inventory: Maintain inspection and inventory of operational tools.</li><li>Customer Service: Address internal and external customer needs in alignment with expectations.</li></ul><div>Carbon Operations:</div><ul><li>Bag products, prepare samples, and ensure proper labeling of each bag.</li><li>Manage spent carbon feed to the reactivation furnace.</li><li>Switch tank feeds for spent carbon.</li><li>Calibrate pH probes and operate a filter press.</li><li>Run facility wastewater treatment plant and calibrate weigh belt every two hours.</li><li>Check incoming city water Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) daily.</li><li>Ensure Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) discharge parameters are within permit limits.</li><li>Perform hourly inspections of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and complete logs.</li></ul><div>Regeneration (Regen) Operations:</div><ul><li>Sort bottles by size and resin type.</li><li>Operate a forklift to move resin tanks and materials within the factory; assist with truck loading.</li><li>Evacuate bottles and regenerate resin batches.</li><li>Fill and quality test SDI products, processing them from start to finish.</li><li>Complete quality control documentation.</li><li>Monitor various meters, gauges, and pressures.</li><li>Regenerate resin to replenish mobile de-ionization trailers.</li></ul>The estimated pay range for this position is $27-28. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
