These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.  Job Description  Job Summary: Position can be based in any US city located near a major airport.This position is a dynamic, distributor and end customer focused role integral to the growth strategy of the FLIR Solutions Condition Monitoring business in the United States.  The successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for growing the sales of all FLIR technology solutions sold and marketed to industry with a focus on those end customers served by Electrical and MRO Distribution Channel Partners.  This individual will create demand with various stakeholders and partner with channel while managing and motivating them.Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Generate, develop, and manage customer and project demand for FLIR Condition Monitoring solutions.  Responsibility for all FLIR Solutions products sold into the Industrial market with a focus on broad-based Distribution partners. </li></ul><ul><li>Actively promote the brand and products through regular visits to end-users, distributors as well as tradeshows, seminars, conferences, and webinars.</li></ul><ul><li>Consistent and well-planned travel throughout territory, prioritizing activity for greatest ROI.</li></ul><ul><li>Meet and exceed the assigned bookings and Revenue goals for the territory.</li></ul><ul><li>Actively manage a reseller network of distributors which includes evaluating new distributors, training, supporting, motivating, developing targets, requiring forecasts/other critical data and holding accountable, with a strong focus on continued sales growth and customer satisfaction/experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Support of the reseller channel includes conducting product demonstrations and customer presentations, quoting, lead generation, addressing issues, requests and questions, competitive positioning, design assistance, local trade shows and seminars.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop new strategies to build business and seek new ways to build markets and market share. This will include a comprehensive understanding of how to best position FLIR within the Electrical Distribution market.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide regular updates to FLIR’s CRM system on active opportunities.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide accurate and thorough forecasts and actively manage pipeline including consistent follow-up of prospects and projects.</li></ul><ul><li>Keep management informed of market and competitive dynamics, issues and other conditions that impact the business.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage assigned demo-equipment including location/possession and monitor the condition for demonstrations/product evaluations.</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in selling high technology capital equipment or solution selling, preferably through Distribution partners.</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred with a strong technical acumen and/or related relevant experience.</li><li>Ability to combine a high degree of technical knowledge with strong and persuasive communication skills.</li><li>Computer literacy, including Windows, specifically the Office suite, and CRM such as Dynamics or Salesforce.</li><li>Strong territory management and forecasting skills.</li><li>Talented in writing proposals and presenting on (including public speaking) company products and services, performing system demonstrations.</li><li>Ability to identify, qualify and capture long term business and grow markets.</li></ul><div></div>#LI-RemoteApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.  Salary Range: $152,000.00-$203,100.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
