Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture.</span></div><div><br></div><div>The Jr. Buyer will compile and maintain records of business transactions and activities of the establishment by performing the following duties.</div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:</h3><ul><li>Responsible for reporting procurement activity and interface between program and commodity management for new sourcing and change programs in line with the group commodity strategy</li><li>Reviewing requisitions and bid proposals; negotiating contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority; purchasing supplies</li><li>Preparing purchase orders or bid requests; entering data of all purchase orders</li><li>Negotiation and contract negotiation experience</li><li>A demonstrated ability to build relations with a supplier network and have insight into suppliers processes</li><li>Conferring with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule</li><li>Receiving and contacting vendors to find out the status of an order; contacting vendors concerning discrepancies with quantity and quality</li><li>Interfacing with all departments, and resolving problems and issues with needed purchase items</li><li>Helping develop our inventory tracking system</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Experience and confidence within an ERP system.
