Candidate must be capable to work with cross-functional teams, align with other departments and understand their requirements to guarantee successful product integration.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>· Define and manage system requirements and specifications for new products and systems.</p><p>· Manage, own and centralize internal requirement’s software (JAMA).</p><p>· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document internal and regulatory requirements</p><p>· Conduct requirements validation and verification activities, including reviews, testing, and analysis.</p><p>· Coordinate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure requirements are met throughout the product development lifecycle.</p><p>· Identify and resolve system-level issues and trade-offs, balancing performance, cost, and schedule constraint while ensuring high quality is met and internal requirements are adjusted accordingly when needed.</p><p>· Maintain traceability of requirements from conception through implementation and validation.</p><p>· Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders.</p><p>· Support risk management activities, including hazard analysis and mitigation planning.</p><p>· Stay updated on industry standards, technologies, and best practices related to systems engineering and requirements management.</p><p>· Owner for lighting requirements from photometrical, electrical, environmental, regulatory, etc.</p><p>· Participate in direct discussions with supplier</p><p>· Evaluate, validate and verify system architecture</p><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>· 5 plus years of engineering experience in automotive sector</p><p>· Proven experience in requirements and systems engineering related to lighting systems</p><p>· Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering</p><p>· Strong knowledge of automotive standards including ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, SPICE, and CAN protocols, Lighting regulation such as ECE, FMVSS108, GB, etc</p><p>· Understanding of IIHS, ADB, HBA procedures and requirements</p><p>· Knowledge of optoelectronics, and LED/laser technology</p><p>· Familiarity with System Engineering tools e.g CAMEO, SysML</p><p>· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p><p>· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications</p><p>· Ability to manage difficult projects with tight timing, budget constraints.</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Previous lighting requirements and system engineering at tier1</p><p>· Previous automotive OEM experience</p><p>· Familiarity with optical design principles, including light distribution, beam patterns, regulatory requirements</p><p>Education</p><p> </p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering or related field of study (Master is a plus)</p><div><p><em>Lucid Motors is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment.
