You will work closely with Project Lifecycle Management, Vehicle Integration, Design Engineering, Logistics, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless and smooth integration of new products and changes without impacting the plant production planning and vehicle Quality.You Will: <ul><li>Manage a team of NPI project engineers to drive ECRs and Programs from evaluation to execution, this includes but is not limited to engineering changes affecting a part used in the manufacturing process</li><li>Represents the Product Line Quality Corporate at the manufacturing plant</li><li>Act as Liaison between the Plant NPI and Product Engineering in headquarters</li><li>Drive NPI activities in new programs such as: Part readiness, Line readiness ensuring changes affected by new parts, MBOM updates on timely manner</li><li>Timely escalation for proper correction of critical items that represent a risk to a new program or to current production</li><li>Participate in Engineering Change Request meetings to understand the scope of changes and determine assessment criteria based on the nature of approved changes</li><li>Coordinate and ensure effectiveness of ECR for new parts trials, ensure proper documentation and disciplined execution</li><li>Gain holistic knowledge of the product, production processes, and manufacturing technologies to understand and mitigate risks, as well as to recognize optimization opportunities</li><li>Work with cross-functional teams to understand the critical actions necessary for successful introduction of new features, capabilities, and products, and ensure those needs will be met ahead of deployment</li><li>Maintain and communicate project timelines and coordinate NPI and project related plant activities</li><li>Coordinate and manage all vehicle material cut-over activity</li><li>Manage the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) for the Mid-Size program(s)</li><li>Continuously improve NPI processes and systems to ensure effectivity and proper planning and cost effectiveness</li></ul>You Bring:  <ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering required, Master’s degree in Engineering preferred Industrial/Quality/Production Engineering</li><li>8+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing organization (OEM) is a must</li><li>4+ years of experience with Greenfield OEM is a strong plus</li><li>Experience and knowledge of product design is required</li><li>Ability to travel up to 25% of the time</li><li>Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational</li><li>Presentation and communication skills are a must</li><li>Ability to coach and train people at different levels of the manufacturing organization</li><li>Excellent analytical &amp; technical writing abilities and comprehensive understanding of Document Control, problem solving, Procedures development among other organizational processes</li><li>Project management capabilities are required</li><li>Working knowledge with AutoCAD is required</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)</li><li>Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized</li><li>Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment and scalable organization</li></ul> <div><div>Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
