This position is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on maintenance, repair, and upkeep tasks while providing proactive support to ensure facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and safely.WHAT YOU WILL DO:·       Live and role model company values and culture at all times<ul> <li>Clean and maintain bathrooms, offices, lunch areas, and dumpster zones multiple times daily</li> <li>Monitor and replenish factory supplies including hand towels, toilet paper, and manufacturing consumables</li> <li>Operate forklift to move materials, unload chassis, roofs, and interdecks, and empty dumpsters</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant grounds—both interior and exterior</li> <li>Drive company vehicle to pick up parts, deliver tools for repair, and run errands as needed</li> <li>Assist with plant safety and security by observing and reporting misconduct or unsafe behavior</li> <li>Notify management of damaged property, full trash roll-offs, or maintenance needs</li> <li>Monitor and manage oil and coolant waste disposal</li> <li>Support toolroom operations when required</li> <li>Perform basic repairs and maintenance on plant equipment such as air compressors and air tools</li> <li>Participate in the Health &amp; Safety Committee and contribute to a culture of safety</li> </ul>WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:<ul> <li>Proven history of basic plant maintenance (e.g., repairing leaks, servicing compressors, fixing air tools)</li> <li>Willingness to perform daily cleaning tasks across all facility areas</li> <li>Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in repairs and maintenance</li> <li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs</li> <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li> <li>Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently</li> <li>Familiarity with health and safety protocols; OSHA training is a plus</li> <li>Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs</li> <li>Strong communication skills and willingness to speak up regarding safety or policy violations</li> <li>Regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and work at heights.</li> <li>Exposure to vibration and moving mechanical parts is common</li> </ul>WHY JOIN US:·       Competitive compensation and benefit package.·       401(k) plan with company match.·       On-the-job training provided in a continuous learning environment.·       Advancement opportunities with a growing company.·       Apart of a team who is leading the world’s electrification of mass mobility.Our WhyWe move people.
