The ideal candidate combines the above expertise with strong critical thinking skills, operating in a collaborative environment, and is driven to improve manufacturing workflow efficiency, accuracy, and quality. *This position is remote in the following states: FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY.<h2>Responsibilities</h2> What Will You Do Leadership &amp; Business Alignment<ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of ERP Operational Process Specialists who work closely with IT to implement ERP functionality based on the operational needs of engineering and manufacturing.</li> <li>Serve as a trusted partner with other business and IT leaders, ensuring ERP functionality directly supports engineering and manufacturing in a multicampus manufacturing setting.</li></ul> ERP System Utilization<ul> <li>Work with IT to align ERP functionality with operational needs in engineering and manufacturing such as:</li> <ul> <li>Workflows, work instructions, routings</li> <li>Component part numbering and documentation</li> <li>Product configuration and documentation</li> <li>Change management and deviations</li> </ul> <li>Support data integrity, reporting, and analytics to improve decision-making within the engineering and manufacturing teams.</li></ul> ERP Optimization &amp; Enablement<ul> <li>Ensure ERP functionality effectively supports end-to-end engineering and manufacturing processes, working closely with IT.</li> <li>Provide end user support and training to engineering &amp; manufacturing associates to ensure adoption and effective use of ERP tools.</li> <li>Participate in testing and validation of ERP changes impacting engineering and manufacturing to ensure accuracy, usability, and reliability.</li> <li>Collaborate with IT to review and advise on upgrades, new modules, and enhancements that impact engineering and manufacturing. </li></ul> Process Improvement &amp; Data Insights<ul> <li>Partner with cross functional leaders to streamline workflows and data integration delivering measurable improvements.</li> <li>Leverage ERP capabilities to simplify complexity, strengthen data integrity, and enable accurate, timely insights.</li> <li>Utilize advanced reporting and analytics to improve operational and financial decision-making.</li></ul> Collaboration &amp; Change Leadership<ul> <li>Build strong partnerships across IT, engineering, manufacturing, sales, finance, and operations acting as the liaison between these teams.</li> <li>Lead organizational and CPQ change management within engineering and manufacturing to drive deep adoption and maximize ERP value.</li> <li>Provide management reporting on engineering and manufacturing ERP initiatives, outcomes, and impact on manufacturing performance.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2> What Will You Need<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Business/Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred).</li> <li>5+ years’ experience leading and using/deploying ERP functionality across Engineering &amp; Manufacturing, with preference for Infor LN (other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics also considered).</li> <li>Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes across engineering and manufacturing.</li> <li>Ability to interpret engineering and manufacturing requirements to define ERP functionality that aligns with and supports business processes.</li> <li>Experience with ERP reporting and analysis tools.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and training end-users.</li> <li>Adaptability and eagerness to grow alongside an ever-evolving ERP system.</li></ul> Let’s Build the Future TogetherAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
