Position Summary The Accounts payable specialist performs crucial job duties that ensure vendors are paid for services and products rendered. The Accounts Payable Specialist reviews and processes invoices, answers vendor inquiries, reconciles vendor statements.Essential Functions/Key Deliverables  <ul><li>Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests.</li><li>Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges. Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.</li><li>Reconcile statements and payment records.</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.</li><li>Analyzing workflow processes.</li><li>Enter and upload invoices into SAP system.</li><li>Create and manage weekly Accounts Payable run in SAP.</li><li>Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
