Consider joining the Duke Energy team, where you'll find a friendly work environment, opportunities for growth and development, recognition for your work, and competitive pay and benefits.Supervisor Nuclear Maintenance Summary Provides leadership, supervision and direction to nuclear maintenance personnel performing periodic or corrective station maintenance.  To ensure the plant is maintained safely during all modes of operation such that the expectations of regulators, management and customers are met.  Build, train, and maintain a team of nuclear maintenance professionals able to meet these demands within guidelines and regulations that apply to the maintenance of a nuclear generation facility.  Ensure personal safety is maintained through vigilant observation of all applicable safety procedures and guidelines. Responsibilities <ul><li>Provides supervision and direction to personnel performing maintenance and repairs to mechanical/electrical station equipment.</li><li>Provides guidance to the process of building a work schedule as it relates to their assigned systems and available resources (during Inage and Outage periods).</li><li>Provides assistance to the planning process when work tasks are identified for their assigned team.</li><li>Works with various other associated departments to make task completion and 100% schedule success a reality.</li><li>Assigns work to qualified nuclear maintenance personnel in accordance with applicable training directives and guidelines</li><li>Monitors and assesses work progression as necessary to assure good work quality and personnel safety are maintained.</li><li>Works with Technical Support and Engineering staff to solve various problems that are beyond the scope of the maintenance team. Reviews all work for compliance with station directives and guidelines to ensure QA, Post Maintenance Testing, Mod and procedural requirements have been met prior to returning equipment to service.
