We are domain experts in our business in ways that exceed the expectations of individual engineering contributors at a normal tech startup.</li><li>Work closely with internal experts in energy markets to translate complicated market dynamics into discoverable, extensible, well-documented production code.</li><li>Contribute to the engineering roadmap, vision, and goals.</li><li>Establish clear and specific success criteria with key stakeholders.</li><li>Lead major initiatives on a wide range of work that includes new customer-facing products, complex automations for internal stakeholders, and data infrastructure scaling.</li><li>Provide mentorship and coaching to more junior team members.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>8+ years of software engineering industry experience.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Experience with designing durable data models and managing them at scale.</li><li>Experience with cloud native application design and development using APIs, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.</li><li>A strong background in system architecture.</li><li>Experience translating complex business domains into maintainable, scalable systems.</li><li>A passion for well-tested, readable, maintainable code.</li></ul><br><div>Please note that at this time, <b>we do not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires</b>.
