Support strategic objectives through procurement, documentation, issue escalation, and development of analytical tools for supply chain optimization  </p><p> <strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong> </p><ul><li>Interface with suppliers to ensure flawless execution at the tactical level while supporting strategic-level corporate objectives</li><li>Identify supply risks and mitigate them</li><li>Interface with suppliers to request quotations and create purchase orders to ensure continuity of raw material supply and minimizing cost</li><li>Participate and plan short- and long-range raw material planning</li><li>Document information relating to receipt, storage, and distribution of materials</li><li>Escalates key product and material issues to management</li><li>Create analytical tools and models to identify, quantify and minimize risks in supply chain</li><li>Ensure inventory accuracy and manage inventory controls</li><li>Perform ERP functions relating to material tracking, BOM costing and production.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong> </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent relevant experience</li><li>Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in a supply chain role</li><li>Successfully performed purchasing in a manufacturing environment with supplier interactions</li><li>Solid written and oral communication skills</li><li>Ability to communicate accomplishments, obstacles, issues and status clearly and concisely to project team members and management</li><li>Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions</li><li>ERP system experience</li><li>Preferred capability:  Fluency in Mandarin</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> </p><ul><li>Wear proper PPE when necessary</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong> </p><ul><li>Environment: office, machine shop, outdoor test sites</li><li>Travel required as needed</li></ul><p>The position is full-time and located in San Francisco, CA.
