This role is pivotal in managing cross-functional alignment, equipment readiness, and launch execution within high-voltage battery systems for electric vehicles.</p><h3>You will:</h3><ul><li>Lead program management of battery manufacturing lines, including equipment build, testing, and shipment</li><li>Act as primary PMO point of contact between on all matters for the battery shop</li><li>Implement and track changes from the New Product Introduction (NPI) team</li><li>Develop and execute FAT/SAT requirements for equipment buyoffs with integrators</li><li>Lead and coordinate the supplier on site, and manage the timeline of all phases of the program including the installation, commissioning and quality loops</li><li>Develop and maintain Microsoft Project/Smartsheet schedules</li><li>Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies</li><li>Report progress and escalate bottlenecks to leadership</li><li>Enforce business and technical criteria during equipment validation</li><li>Understand product design changes and their impact on manufacturing equipment</li><li>Lead equipment development from design to buyoff</li><li>Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Product Engineering, Facilities, and Quality teams</li><li>Align with internal and stakeholders on launch readiness and operational goals</li></ul><h3>You bring:</h3><ul><li>Experience working with the following equipment: robotics, end of arm tooling, pick and place automation, position sensors, material handling, fluid dispensing, deflection analysis, vision systems, conveyor and laser cleaning/ metrology</li><li>Experience with Battery Pack production lines, GD&amp;T, leak test, adhesive dispense, Dielectrics, Hipot testing, Leak tests, End of line testing (HV/LV), AGVs, ASRS equipment, Vision with automated Fiducial offsets</li><li>Experience with Battery Module production lines, GD&amp;T, Laser welding, Wire bonding, bar code reading, vision system inspection, potting, HV testing, ASRS equipment, End of line testing, Adhesive applications, box cutting automation</li><li>Strong understanding of Machine Tool Building mechanical, electrical, controls to build automation equipment from design to buyoff</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience</li><li>8+ years of experience in powertrain or battery manufacturing program management</li><li>Proven leadership in high-volume automotive manufacturing environments</li><li>Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and DFM principles</li><li>Experience with high-voltage systems and safety standards</li><li>Extensive launch and commissioning experience</li><li>Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company</li><li>Working knowledge of MS project and AutoCAD is a must</li><li>Working Knowledge of Catia and Delmia is a plus</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time</li><li>Possess knowledge and experience across multiple functions within product design and manufacturing</li></ul><div><div><p><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
