<h2>Division</h2>Vulcan Steel Products<h2>Overview</h2><p>Inside sales / Customer Service </p><p> </p><p>Experienced and highly productive Inside Sales Representative, who can effectively manage larger volume accounts while growing and taking care of our customers.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Responsible for managing the day-to-day orders to provide the best in service to our customers. </li> <li>Handle incoming sales call/email requests and promptly answer customer requests. </li> <li>Able to check inventory, future rolling's, production to be able to accurately quote customers. </li> <li>Enter orders, check status, and make costumer aware of any changes to the status of the material. </li> <li>Work to meet the sales goals provided by the customer and the Vulcan sales team. </li> <li>Develop new customers and accounts, reach out to existing customers to grow business. </li> <li>Maintain and monitor customers activity within your assigned accounts. </li> <li>Keep mistakes to a bare minimum, accuracy is a must. </li> <li>Work closely with the Market Managers, Scheduling, Quoting departments for updated pricing, specification review, and quoting lead times to customers. </li> <li>Back up Sales team when needed, answer phones, respond to emails and take care of the customers when a teammate is absent. </li> <li>Travel as needed and meet with customers of Vulcan Steel Products </li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>  <ul>   <li>Strong problem solver and multi-tasker</li>   <li>Organizational skills and <em>accuracy</em> are a MUST.</li>   <li>Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily.</li>   <li>Ability to identify and research accounts, key players, and generate interest to grow existing accounts along with cultivating new ones.</li>   <li>Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).</li>   <li>Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers</li>  </ul><p><strong>Preferred: </strong></p>  <ul>   <li>3+ years of sales experience in the metals industry</li>   <li>2-4 year degree </li>  </ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. </strong></em></p></li></ul>

<p>OmniSource, LLC is a multifaceted metals-recycling company&mdash;one of North America&rsquo;s largest processors and distributors of scrap and secondary metals. We collect, process, and resell a wide variety of scrap metal. Through recent expansions and acquisitions, we can now process 7 million tons of ferrous scrap per year and more than 1 billion pounds of nonferrous metals. We currently operate more than 70 collection and processing facilities, including 11 high-capacity shredders as well as other metals processing facilities, and employ about 2,500 people. Our primary collection and processing facilities are in the Midwest, the Southeast, and the mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Moreover, utilizing a wide-ranging fleet of trucks and containers, railcars, and barges to collect and haul metals, our reach stretches across North America.
