As part of this team, you will perform incoming, in-process inspection and final inspection of Electronic Assemblies for VTOL electric aircraft. The inspection process will help baseline the company’s design efforts and pave the way for production. The Joby Aviation team is made up of extremely talented, hardworking, proactive, and hands-on individuals, operating in a very fast-paced and rewarding environment. We are looking to expand this team with like-minded individuals looking to make a mark in the transportation industry.  <strong>This is an onsite Temporary (3-6 months) Full-Time position in Clear Lake, Wisconsin.</strong><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Perform visual and dimensional inspection on supplied Electronic / PCBA parts</li> <li>Set-up and operate 3D Automated Optical Inspection machine</li> <li>Insure compliance with engineering drawings, process specifications, and industry standards such as IPC-610</li> <li>Use precision measuring instruments eg calipers and pin gauges for inspections</li> <li>Document and relay nonconformance information following MRB process</li> <li>Conduct first article inspection and generate first article inspection reports in compliance with SAE AS9102 (as required)</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>High-school diploma or GED plus three (3) years of on-the-job experience in electronics assembly manufactring </li> <li>Knowledge of 3D AOI equipment and procedures</li> <li>Comprehension of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards - certification preferred </li> <li>Understand traceability (product, material and calibration)</li> <li>Ability to work within a team environment</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><p> </p><ul> <li>General use of Keyance, CMM, OMM, Faro Arm and Romer Arm</li> <li>Experience with digital X-Ray inspections</li> <li>Proficient with Polyworks </li> <li>Ability to program a Coordinate Measuring Machine</li> <li>Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirement</li> <li>Understanding basic statistical terms and techniques, how to plot data and how to recognize out-of-control conditions</li> <li>ASQ Certified Quality Inspector Certificate</li></ul><h2>Additional Information</h2><p>The target base pay for this position is $23-31/hour.
