At GEA, we’re not just building equipment, we’re building lasting careers with an average employee tenure range from 5 to over 11+ years, reflecting the strong culture, growth opportunities, and support we provide.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Connect with customers to understand North American (NAM) software market needs and translate them into actionable requirements.</li><li>Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features and user stories deliver real customer value.</li><li>Collaborate with the global development team by clarifying requirements, providing feedback, and supporting knowledge transfer between the NAM and Boenen teams.</li><li>Contribute to software development through coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing system maintenance.</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies, apply fixes and enhancements, and support on-farm software deployments.</li><li>Requires strong communication skills, teamwork in a multi-national environment, comfort working with livestock, and willingness to travel to customer farms (~20%).</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field</li><li>Experience in software requirements engineering</li><li>Proficiency in C++ programming &amp; version control systems (git)</li><li>Ticket &amp; documentation systems (JIRA/Confluence)</li><li>Experience with SAP preferred</li><li>1-5 years engineering experience</li><li>Strong desire to learn</li><li>Good work ethic</li><li>Strong team player</li><li>Well-developed communication skills both written and oral</li></ul>The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $118,000 per year.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
