We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world. As we expand our Critical Power team, we have an opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our team.What you’ll do:<ul><li>Drive New Business: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for Aggreko’s critical power solutions within the Data Centre and Utilities sectors across the UK and Ireland.</li><li>Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring Aggreko is the partner of choice for mission-critical power needs.</li><li>Solution Selling: Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored proposals, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer requirements, site constraints, and the unique challenges of uptime-sensitive environments.</li><li>Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in Data Centres and Utilities, using insights to inform sales strategies and maintain Aggreko’s competitive edge.</li><li>Project Collaboration: Support the delivery of complex projects by collaborating with project managers, engineers, and service teams to ensure seamless handover from sales to execution.</li><li>Pipeline &amp; Forecasting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular forecasts, and deliver against ambitious revenue and margin targets.</li><li>Brand Ambassador: Represent Aggreko at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, upholding the company’s reputation for reliability, innovation, and service excellence.</li></ul>You’ll have the following skills and experience:<ul><li>Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the critical power, Data Centre, or Utilities sectors.</li><li>Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate complex power solutions (generators, UPS, switchgear, load banks, etc.).</li><li>Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation and close.</li><li>Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach to solution selling.</li><li>Commercial awareness, with experience working to revenue and margin targets.</li><li>Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently across a large geographic territory.</li><li>Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland, as required.</li><li>Full UK driving licence.</li></ul>Why Aggreko?
