Are you ready to jump onboard?  We are looking for a Process Engineer willing to mix creativity and engineering skills to develop design of fuel systems for the marine industry.  The preferred location for this position is Vaasa (Finland) but also Helsinki, Turku (Finland), Trieste (Italy) are negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.   Your role and responsibilities   As a Process Engineer you will have the possibility to follow the entire lifecycle of our products from initial design to operational support through manufacturing, installation and commissioning at shipyard. Your work will mainly focus on the design of piping &amp; instrument diagrams (P&amp;ID) of fuel supply systems for LNG, Methanol and Ammonia, but you will also have the chance to expand skills and competences on thermodynamics and fluid dynamics simulation. You will be responsible to define technical specifications for process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers) and develop operating procedures. You’ll be working as a part of a young, international and dynamic team with contagious enthusiasm and expertise.  Requirements for the position:  <ul><li>BSc or MSc in the field of Technology and Engineering</li><li>Knowledge of the marine/shipbuilding industry is seen as an advantage</li><li>Experience with AutoCAD</li><li>Experience with Process simulation software (Ansys, AFT Fathom) </li></ul>  Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:  <ul><li>Good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Responsible, flexible, proactive, stress-resistant and planning skills</li><li>Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal</li><li>Good communication and collaboration skills</li></ul>  Why you and us?    We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
