This will be serviced by new transmission network infrastructure, including transmission lines and energy hubs, which will transfer power generated by solar and wind farms to electricity consumers.</p><p></p><p><b>HumeLink East</b><br>Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd and Genus Infrastructure (NSW) Pty Ltd have been engaged by Transgrid to deliver the eastern portion of the HumeLink project. HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of a new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.</p><div></div><p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>The Operator Brake/Winch (B5) is responsible for the safe set-up and operation of brake/winch equipment used in the stringing and tensioning of overhead transmission line conductors.
