This is a role for an early-career professional focused on high-quality analytical and project delivery support. The Analyst will work across engagements covering both sustainability and clean energy topics, contributing to internal workstreams and client deliverables.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;"> </span></div><br><br><h3>Job Responsibilities: </h3><ul><li>Independently support client engagements with detailed analysis.</li><li>Conduct thorough sustainability, policy, and electricity market research.</li><li>Create compelling, client-ready PowerPoint deliverables.</li><li>Present key analysis to clients.</li><li>Design and build client-ready Excel-based models, PowerBi dashboards, and other data visualization tools.</li><li>Support portal-based client interactions, including: educational campaigns, data management, and communications.</li><li>Collaborate with Sustainability and Clean Energy colleagues, as well as with other Trio teams, for efficient delivery of client projects.</li><li>Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes, and contribute to Trio thought leadership.</li><li>If senior analyst skill-set allows, use programming skills to automate data analysis tasks.</li></ul><h3>Desired Background: </h3><ul><li>2 - 5 years’ experience in the sustainability or clean energy field with a clear trajectory of increasing ownership over tasks and deliverables; consultancy / professional services experience preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, Environmental Science, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge and practical application or project contribution in two or more of the following areas: sustainability program development, GHG inventory accounting (GHG Protocol), decarbonization strategy, sustainability goal setting (SBTi, Net Zero, and others), stakeholder engagement, climate adaptation and risk, on-site and community solar, off-site renewable energy, renewable project due diligence, environmental reporting, global and regional climate-related disclosure frameworks, sustainability and energy policy research and analysis, wholesale electricity markets.</li><li> Experience working with complex data and leveraging Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other programs to manage and analyze large datasets; experience with Python a plus</li><li>Experience using enterprise sustainability software platforms, i.e. loading data, generating calculated emissions, producing visualizations and reports, etc.</li></ul><h3>Key Competencies: </h3><ul><li>Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to manage time and tasks independently, while seeking guidance when needed</li><li>Willingness to ask questions, clarify direction, and engage in continuous learning</li><li>Demonstrated interest in rapidly evolving topics related to energy, sustainability, and climate policy</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and accommodate flexible meeting times</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Trio is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
