This role focuses on identifying and mitigating threats, reducing false positives, and enriching security events with business context and threat intelligence to ensure a robust security posture.Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li>L3 SOC analyst – perform Incident response, follow IRP, document the incient report and work on gaps identified and lessons learned.</li><li>Train junior resources on day-to-day operations.</li><li>Monitor and analyze security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM, EDR, and other security tools.</li><li>Investigate and triage security incidents and vulnerabilities to determine their validity, impact, and root cause.</li><li>Enrich security events with business context, threat intelligence, and risk assessments to prioritize response efforts.</li><li>Collaborate with the other teams to identify and eliminate false positives, improving the accuracy of alerting systems.</li><li>Conduct threat hunting to identify anomalies, suspicious activities, or potential threats within the environment.</li><li>Assist in vulnerability management by understanding vulnerabilities, their assessment, and their potential impact on the organization.</li><li>Document and report security incidents, including detailed analysis and recommended remediation steps.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to system owners during security incidents.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to enhance detection and response capabilities.</li></ul><div><strong>Required Experience</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.</li><li>3-6 years of experience in a SOC environment and vulnerability management, with a focus on monitoring, incident analysis, and response.</li><li>Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Hunters), EDR (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), and threat intelligence platforms.</li><li>Solid understanding of networking, cloud computing, email security, and malware behavior across different operating systems.</li><li>Basic knowledge of IoT devices and their security implications is a plus.</li><li>Experience with Python or other scripting languages for basic automation tasks is desirable.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.</li></ul><div>Certifications Candidates with the following relevant certifications will be preferred:</div><ul><li>CompTIA Security+</li><li>Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)</li><li>Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus</li></ul><h3><strong>Location</strong></h3><p>Gurgaon, India</p><p> </p><div><p>We are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
