If you’re ambitious and excited about shaping how AI transforms the way companies handle data, we’d love to connect.About the Role<ul><li>Lead in the code for our core product (Data Pipeline), while staying fluent across our other codebases (Importer, User Platform, Admin Panel). Write reference implementations and unblock complex work.</li><li>Shape the architecture of our scalable data pipeline product in close collaboration with senior engineers and the Tech Lead.</li><li>Define and enforce engineering standards (naming, testing, performance, security), short design docs, and ADRs (Architecture Decision Records).</li><li>Add technical requirements to user stories with the PM and ensure Definition of Ready/Done is consistently met.</li><li>Drive code quality through deep reviews, pair programming (regular pair starts), and frequent pull requests.</li><li>Own an engineering-led backlog for technical debt and continuous improvements (pipeline throughput, parsing performance, observability).</li><li>Establish compatibility and release practices for our JavaScript SDKs and public APIs: semantic versioning, deprecation policy, and contract tests.</li><li>Build a reproducible benchmark suite and reliability guardrails (feature flags, safe rollouts, rollback plans).</li><li>Mentor and coach engineers by introducing coding principles, best practices, and architectural thinking into daily work.</li><li>Drive product architecture, ensuring resilience, scalability, and robustness of our services.</li></ul>About You<ul><li>6–7+ years of professional experience in software engineering (including Staff or Senior-level experience)</li><li>Strong expertise in backend development with Node.js/TypeScript (Express.js) and experience building scalable systems</li><li>Solid knowledge of AWS and cloud-native architecture (Serverless, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and observability)</li><li>Fluency in React/TypeScript (able to lead on frontend architecture and SDKs when needed)</li><li>Experience with APIs, SDKs, and debugging workflows</li><li>A passion for mentorship and raising the engineering bar through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English — able to explain complex technical topics clearly and collaborate with our Germany-/Thailand-based engineering team</li><li>Berlin-based (or willing to relocate) </li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, or high-throughput systems</li><li>Familiarity with ISO 27001-compliant engineering practices</li><li>Experience working with AI services or AWS AI-related services</li><li>Experience in emerging practices such as agentic coding frameworks</li></ul>Why Join?<ul><li>A mission-driven opportunity with the possibility to be a true disruptor of the B2B landscape, empowering thousands of businesses to reach operational excellence</li><li>A competitive and fair compensation package incl.
