We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Operate the antenna array during flight tests</li> <li>Record detailed notes &amp; test points during flight tests</li> <li>Participate in flight test briefings to understand and accurately conduct the test</li> <li>Participate in experimental flight testing as a ground crew member</li> <li>Perform other tasks associated with operation of flight test aircraft which include ground operations, preflight items, cleaning, and organizing</li> <li>Perform other administrative tasks for the flight test department</li> <li>Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company</li> <li>Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices</li> <li>Other duties as assigned or required</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>Track record of work experience demonstrating timeliness and reliability</li> <li>Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes</li> <li>Ability to successfully complete training applicable to the job</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues</li> <li>Ability to work on a team and be able to work extended hours and travel as required</li> <li>Read and speak English proficiently</li> <li>Vision corrected to 20/20 or better</li> <li>Ability to operate the antenna array including standing for extended periods</li> <li>Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Associate’s or bachelor’s degree</li> <li>Experience in aviation</li> <li>Experience in assembly, troubleshooting &amp; repair of electric or mechanical systems</li></ul><p> </p><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is  $28-$41/hr.
