As we scale, we’re looking for a motivated working student to support our day-to-day finance operations and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a unique opportunity to learn how modern finance works in a tech-driven company, contribute to meaningful processes, and grow alongside an experienced team.<h3>What you’ll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Learn hands-on accounting (HGB) in a fast, dynamic environment.</li><li>Help build and improve the finance &amp; accounting function from the inside.</li><li>Get end-to-end exposure to many processes (close, tax, AP/AR, revenue) and see your impact on day one.</li><li>Support monthly &amp; year-end close under HGB (JEs, reconciliations) and assist with financial statements.</li><li>Help run AP/AR and basic payroll tasks.</li><li>Assist with VAT returns and other German tax filings.</li><li>Support SaaS revenue recognition and related reconciliations.</li><li>Prep documents and coordinate with tax advisors &amp; auditors.</li><li>Drive process/automation improvements.</li></ul><h3>Who you are:</h3><ul style=""><li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>Ideally with first practical experience in accounting or finance through internships, student jobs, or university projects.</li><li>Basic knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); exposure to IFRS or US GAAP is a big advantage.</li><li>Interest in German tax regulations (e.g., VAT, corporate tax, payroll tax).</li><li>Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.</li><li>Interest in tech-savvy finance processes, such as automated billing platforms (e.g., Stripe) or subscription business models.</li><li>Effective communication skills in German and English.</li></ul>How we work<ul style=""><li>For us, it is always team-first.
