This role involves developing and implementing production policies and procedures, managing a team of production professionals, and ensuring that production activities meet or exceed company objectives. The Production coordinator conducts regular audits, reviews production performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing production documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and reporting on production performance to senior leadership. Responsibilities: Planning and Organizing • Create production schedules and timelines • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of tasks • Monitor and adjust production processes to meet deadlines • Develop and implement efficient production strategies • Ensure proper allocation of resources and materials Quality Control • Establish and enforce quality standards for production processes • Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet specifications • Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may affect quality • Implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency • Collaborate with quality control team to address any concerns Budget and Cost Management • Develop and manage production budget • Identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality • Monitor and control production expenses • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for competitive pricing • Analyze production costs and make recommendations for improvement Safety and Compliance • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions • Provide training on safety procedures and guidelines • Maintain proper documentation for safety and compliance records • Collaborate with safety and compliance teams for continuous improvement Communication and Reporting • Communicate production updates and progress to upper management • Prepare and present reports on production metrics and performance • Facilitate communication between different departments involved in production • Address any production related issues and provide solutions • Implement effective communication strategies for improved efficiency Team Management: • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, feedback, and support. • Set goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance. • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. • Develop and implement training programs to keep team members updated on trends and strategies. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with at least 5 years experience., with at least 2 years experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. • Proven experience in import/export operations with significant supervisory experience. • Expert level understanding of advanced failure analysis techniques. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations. • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Google Analytics, and various CRM platforms. • Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and SEM campaigns. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively. • A strategic thinker with a test and learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements. • Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed. • End-to-end Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion.
