Talen Energy is seeking a qualified professional with proven experience and results to join our Commercial Accounting team as a Sr. Settlements Analyst for our office in Houston, Texas.  The Sr. Settlements Analyst is a critical member of the accounting and finance organization responsible for the accounting, settlement, reporting, and analysis activities of the energy marketing division as well as collaborating with corporate accounting to work towards best practices and strengthen internal controls. The successful Sr. Analyst will directly collaborate with team members, project groups, information technology and cross functional teams to support continuous process improvements and changing business needs. This role is primarily responsible for the verification, validation, and processing of transactional data related to power transactions in the PJM Interconnection wholesale energy markets.
