Job Description:This position is an onsite role that will be based at our office in Hyderabad, AP, India.Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do<ul><li>Manage one or more of Nextracker software products with the goal of aligning the products with Nextracker’s Corporate goals and defining the products’ vision, KPIs and development roadmap</li><li>Assume complete ownership of assigned products by becoming an expert on the product and being the product evangelist who continuously strives to make the product successful, driving user adoption and value to the company </li><li>Engage all the stakeholders, including the customers and the users, in contributing to the product goals and get them on board with the product vision</li><li>Translate customer needs and business goals into intuitive, valuable product features that delight them</li><li>Prioritize the product features and changes in accordance with the business impact</li><li>Create user stories and work with UX designers on flows and prototypes.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the engineering leaders to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery.</li><li>Continually track and analyze usage metrics to measure experience success and uncover areas for optimization.</li><li>Develop in-depth understanding of our customers to create buyer/user personas that inform product decisions.</li><li>Lead quantitative and qualitative research, synthesize findings, and make recommendations to senior product leadership.</li><li>Stay up to date on market trends, emerging best practices, and competitors.</li><li>Communicate clearly and proactively to your leadership team about the product’s roadmap and progress.</li></ul>Here is some of what you’ll need (required)<ul><li>5+ years serving as a Software Product Manager for software applications, preferably in the renewable energy industry.</li><li>Strong background in managing energy or equivalent infrastructure solutions, comprising of hardware and software components</li><li>Passion for understanding customer needs and advocating for the customer experience.</li><li>Strong aptitude for learning new technical concepts to the extent they apply to a product</li><li>Strong analytical abilities and data-driven mindset.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences<ul><li>Experience working on a fast evolving product</li><li>Experience working on software products for solar or structural engineering design</li><li>Experience working in the solar industry; utility scale solar experience is a plus</li></ul>At Nextracker, we are leading in the energy transition, providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar tracker and software solutions for solar power plants, as well as strategic services to capture the full value of solar power plants for our customers.
