Prior legal experience is highly preferred.</li><li>Proven hands-on experience drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of contract law and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), with the ability to apply these principles to diverse commercial transactions.</li><li>Experience working with various contract types and negotiation scenarios.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose innovative solutions.</li><li>High level of integrity, independence, and initiative; capable of managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.</li></ul>Preferred Background:<ul><li>Candidates do not necessarily need a law degree or paralegal certification.</li><li>Professionals currently serving as Contract Administrators, Contract Officers, Purchasing Agents, or Buyers with significant experience in contract drafting and negotiation are strongly encouraged to apply.</li></ul>At GEA, we don’t just offer jobs—we offer opportunities to thrive, grow, and make an impact.The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment will be communicated during the phone screen. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
