These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.  Job Description  The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspection of product and related documentation prior to submittal to customer and/or government inspection.  Inspection may include in process, incoming receiving inspection, source inspection, and/or final inspection. RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Operate CMM machine using established programs.</li><li>Program and operate Keyence IM system, Nikon vision system.</li><li>Perform dimensional inspection on product using a variety of measuring equipment such as, but not limited to: CMM, Keyence, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gages.</li><li>Perform visual inspection of multiple products for mechanical/electrical characteristics to documentation.</li><li>Perform as an inspector for various areas of inspection, such as in-process, incoming receiving inspection, source inspection, and/or final inspection.</li><li>Review all documentation for completeness, including stamp off on test data, router, and supplier certifications.</li><li>Perform first article inspection for in-process operations.</li><li>Review first article packages for completeness.</li><li>Interpret assembly drawings and performs mechanical measurements.</li><li>Support quality engineering to identify in-process or supplier trends.</li><li>Conduct production area, documentation, and support area audits. Interfaces with multiple levels of personnel, including production personnel, management and government/customer representative.</li><li>Assist quality engineering with customer representative during first article and or production buy-off.</li><li>Help identify opportunities for improving process and procedures.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Requires a high school diploma</li><li>Requires 4 or more years of inspector experience in a military or aerospace environment</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Suite</li><li>Ability to read and interpret GD&amp;T electrical and mechanical drawings</li><li>Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Basic knowledge of metrology, quality tools, and GD&amp;T is required</li><li>Open DMIS software experience preferred</li><li>Experience with AS9100D is a plus</li><li>Please note that due to the requirements from the Department of Energy, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.</li><li>This position requires use of information, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
