This individual will play a key role in supporting the firm’s global compliance program and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across Apollo’s investment platform.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the implementation and oversight of investment compliance controls, including: </li><li>Restricted lists and control room functions (handling of material non-public information (MNPI)</li><li>Trade surveillance and monitoring</li><li>Investment allocation reviews and testing</li><li>Management of conflicts of interest</li><li>Oversight of expert network interactions and related practices</li><li>Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940</li><li>Serve as go-to person for restricted list technology and related projects, responsible for overall implementation of the technology and associated project timelines, scope, budget, and KPIs</li><li>Institute best practices in restricted list data management</li><li>Collaborate with various business units and compliance stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks</li><li>Contribute to compliance testing, monitoring, and reporting processes</li><li>Assist with the development and refinement of compliance policies and procedures</li></ul></div>Qualifications &amp; ExperienceApollo seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, energetic and can quickly assess a situation and exercise sound business judgment.  More specifically, the successful candidate should have:<ul><li>4 - 6+ years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within asset management, private equity, or financial services</li><li>A mix of consulting/project-management experience preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of investment compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., the Advisers Act)</li><li>Strong functional skills using data tools like Bloomberg Terminal, Power BI, or Tableau to build clean, easy to digest data visualizations that simplify business analytics  </li><li>Experience working with database technologies, maintaining compliance data management systems, coordinating numerous data sources/applications while managing internal and external parties</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</li><li>High attention to detail and sound judgment</li><li>Ability to work well within a fast-past environment; manage and prioritize competing tasks simultaneously</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required</li></ul>Pay Range130,000 - 165,000Apollo Global Management, Inc.
