This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team development.</span></div><br><br><h3>What would you be doing at Woodard &amp; Curran?</h3><ul><li>As the Plant Manager, you will:</li><div><br></div><li>Lead the operations and maintenance of the water treatment plant and distribution system in compliance with Illinois EPA regulations.</li><li>Manage scope, schedule, and budget of the facility with minimal direct supervision.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate daily activities including scheduling, strategic pump and flow management, and residuals handling.</li><li>Oversee SCADA systems, electrical and mechanical components, and remote communications.</li><li>Ensure accurate sample collection and laboratory analysis.</li><li>Maintain detailed operational logs and prepare the required reports.</li><li>Respond to customer complaints and coordinate resolutions with city departments.</li><li>Direct repair, maintenance, and construction activities on the production and distribution systems of the Water Department.</li><li>Train staff on safety procedures, tools, and equipment.</li><li>Participate in the planning and implementation of capital projects.</li><li>Supervise 4 employees that have various responsibilities within the Water Department.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Schedule:</h3><ul><li>Typically Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, but on call responsibilities with odd hours are possible. </li><li>Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
