The role requires flexibility to work across multiple shifts, which may include:</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Day: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM</span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Swing: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM</span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Occasional overnight or weekend hours as operational needs arise. </span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">With flexible shifts and a part-time schedule, this role provides an opportunity for students to gain practical, real-world experience supporting cutting-edge autonomous technology.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will: </h3><ul><li>Support vehicle testing and operations in both in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle roles</li><li>Assist with basic software tasks, system checks, and mission prep activities</li><li>Collect data, analyze logs using internal tools, and document observations</li><li>Contribute to feedback and defect reporting for engineering teams</li><li>Support documentation efforts related to vehicle readiness, test results, and metrics</li><li>Promote a safety-first mindset and collaborative, inclusive team culture</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset</li><li>Basic scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash) from coursework, projects, or personal use</li><li>Team-oriented, with a strong focus on execution and safety</li><li>Comfortable with Google Suite or Microsoft Office; open to learning tools like JIRA or Confluence</li><li>Exposure to QA concepts or testing environments is a plus; adaptable in fast-paced settings</li><li>Actively enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college program pursuing a certificate or degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work onsite in Tracy or Altamont. </li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with test tracking tools (e.g. Testrail)</li><li>Experience with MS Office/Google Suites</li></ul><br><div><b style="font-size:16px;">Compensation</b></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">$30 an hour. </span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">This is a contract position and employment for this position will be through a vendor contracted with Zoox.
