This position plays a critical role in keeping our plant running smoothly by leading repairs, technical tasks, and a team of electromechanical maintenance technicians. You will partner closely with Engineering and Operations to minimize downtime while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and urgency. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will provide technical expertise, mentor a team, and ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards. A Shift: (Sun - Tues and every other Wed) 6am to 6pm<h3 style="line-height:1;">Responsibilities will include:</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Lead and mentor a team of electromechanical maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance and coaching.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Schedule and assign tasks to ensure work is completed on time and to required standards.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Perform routine inspections to proactively identify and address potential issues.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems, coordinating repairs and component replacements as needed.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ensure emergency repairs are completed promptly to minimize production disruptions.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Enforce and model safety protocols, participating in audits, investigations, and corrective actions.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Reinforce performance standards and partner with the Maintenance Site Manager on coaching or disciplinary measures when needed.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Participate and complete all company-sponsored training and compliance training.</li></ul><h3 style="line-height:1;">Desired Qualifications:</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance teams.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">5+ years of maintenance or trade experience (Journeyman Electrician, Plumber, Pipe Fitter, etc.).</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong background with heavy commercial equipment (mills, crushers, conveyors, pump rebuilds, rotary airlock troubleshooting/replacement, rigging, machine installation, electronic troubleshooting, machine alignments).</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems, motion control, motors, pneumatics, sensors, and PLCs (Allen Bradley).</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical systems.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Skilled in fabrication and welding.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, etc.).</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Proficiency in using maintenance software and computer-based applications.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude during challenging times.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!</li></ul><div>The position is full-time.
