The effective candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently. He/she must establish and maintain a professional working relationship with external and internal teams at all levels across the company. Candidates need to be able to balance multiple projects requiring varying skill sets in highly dynamic and diverse working environment. They must be able to work independently, but also be a top contributor in small and large groups.<br><br><br>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Operation of Portable CMM equipment to support monitoring of production processes, commissioning of new productions, and root cause activities.</li><li>Experience with Polyworks and/or Verisurf to carrying out portable special measurement requests, portable tooling measurements within the production line. </li><li>CATIA or 3D CAD experience to work with native files as well as STEP and IGES to compare collected measurement data tothe  nominal condition.</li><li>Liaise with Engineering and Manufacturing functions to understand measurement requirement for special investigations, developing correct datum scheme, collection of scan data and detailed reports to communicate key findings.</li><li>Certify fixtures in the production line according to the calibration schedule and report data compared to historical measurements.</li><li>Requirement to lead and support 5S activities to ensure that the workplace is organized, equipment spares are properly maintained, and material flows through the lab in an efficient manner.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Inspection Experience: experience using Polyworks or Verisurf.</li><li>CAD: CATIA or 3D CAD experience.</li><li>Inspection equipment experience: Experience with structured light scanning systems, laser trackers, and/or FARO arms preferred.</li><li>Ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.</li><li>Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.</li><li>Understanding of GD&amp;T.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div><div><p><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
