The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle assembly processes and a deep understanding of Final Line and EOL systems and processes. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality vehicle delivery through robust process development, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes in the Final Line and EOL areas.</li><li>Lead the integration and validation of systems including:<br>- Fluid Filling<br>  - Wheel Alignment<br>  - Headlamp Aiming<br>  - ADAS Calibration<br>  - Vehicle Dynamic Testing (Rolling Road, DVT) etc.</li><li>Conduct trial builds and process capability studies to ensure readiness for SOP.</li><li>Drive First Time Through (FTT) improvements by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Software, and Product Engineering) to ensure seamless process integration.</li><li>Support launch activities for new vehicle programs and model changes.</li><li>Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Standard Work Instructions.</li><li>Support quality teams with root cause analysis (5-Why, 8D) and implementation of corrective actions (ICA/PCA).</li><li>Establish Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process monitoring systems to improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and reduce variability.</li><li>Manage engineering changes (ECRs, DRs, PCRs) by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and updating process documentation accordingly.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.</li><li>Provide technical support to production teams and resolve day-to-day process issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.</li></ul><h2>Skills</h2><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong understanding of vehicle assembly and testing processes.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Fluid Filling and EOL systems and tools.</li><li>Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).</li><li>Experience with MES, PLCs, and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, UDS) is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Soft Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.</li><li>Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.</li></ul><h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).</li><li>3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably in Final Line and EOL operations.</li><li>EV experience is a must.</li></ul><div><div><p><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
