In this role, you'll not only perform regular <em>maintenance</em> tasks but also assist in training new team members, planning and prioritizing work, and ensuring all <em>maintenance</em> activities are completed safely and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with the <em>maintenance</em> supervisor and team members, attend weekly meetings, and help manage inventory and safety metrics. This position requires extensive knowledge of building systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to supervise and delegate tasks effectively. .</p><p> </p><p>You Will:</p><ul><li>Assist with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members.</li><li>Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.</li><li>Works with maintenance supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.</li><li>Attend weekly department meetings.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members’ skills and experience.</li><li>Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.</li><li>Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.</li><li>Tracks and logs workers’ time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.</li><li>Works with maintenance supervisor to coordinate topics for safety meetings and KPI metrics.</li><li>Update the Key Performance Indicator boards in the maintenance shop.</li><li>Assist the maintenance coordinator in printing out Fiix reports, modifying and/or creating work orders and PM tasks.</li><li>Schedule downtime PM’s and validate parts-on-hand for the task. Organize parts as needed.</li><li>Take and maintain inventory of spare parts, maintenance consumable and shop supplies as needed.
