You’ll be the go-to partner for hiring managers, helping them define needs, refine roles, and attract top talent in engineering, technical, and business functions. As one of the early people-focused hires, you’ll play a key role in helping shape our talent brand, candidate experience, and recruiting infrastructure in New Mexico.<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul style=""><li>Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and operations.</li><li>Partner with hiring managers to define workforce needs, craft clear role requirements, and develop effective hiring strategies.</li><li>Source, engage, and nurture candidates through creative outreach, networks, and partnerships.</li><li>Track recruiting metrics and provide insights to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Represent the company as an ambassador at industry events, career fairs, and within the local community.</li><li>Drive a structured, inclusive, and consistent hiring process.</li><li>Mentor and guide team members as the talent function grows.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications:</h2><ul style=""><li>5+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on technical roles in engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.</li><li>Proven ability to hire for specialized skill sets in competitive markets.</li><li>Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing techniques, and ATS systems (Greenhouse, Ashby, etc.).</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring teams both on the ground and remotely.</li><li>Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to influence decisions.</li><li>Deep knowledge of the Albuquerque or broader Southwest talent market.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Skills:</h2><ul style=""><li>Passion for clean energy, deep tech, or mission-driven industries.</li><li>Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments in aerospace, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.</li><li>Background in employer branding or building recruiting strategies in new locations.</li></ul><h2>Benefits:</h2><ul style=""><li>Industry-competitive salary</li><li>Equity plan</li><li>6% employer 401k matching</li><li>Generous paid time off (including sick leave, vacation, paid family leave)</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</li></ul>Actual base salary offered will be determined by: experience, skills, and work location.
