<h2>Position Overview</h2>We are seeking a dependable and vigilant Security Guard to protect a utility-scale solar construction site. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring access, safeguarding equipment and personnel, and reporting any suspicious activity or safety risks. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote outdoor environment.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Control and monitor site access for employees, contractors, and deliveries.</li><li>Perform regular perimeter and equipment patrols on foot or by vehicle (as applicable).</li><li>Detect, deter, and report trespassing, theft, vandalism, or hazardous conditions.</li><li>Maintain a daily activity and incident log with accurate recordkeeping.</li><li>Enforce all site safety and security procedures consistently.</li><li>Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies and notify appropriate contacts.</li><li>Ensure gates, fencing, and security systems are secure and functioning.</li><li>Provide clear communication with site leadership, law enforcement, or emergency responders when needed.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or construction site monitoring preferred.</li><li>Valid security license (if required by state or local regulations).</li><li>Ability to remain alert and professional during long periods of low activity.</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.</li><li>Basic report writing and communication skills.</li><li>Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.</li><li>Must pass background check and drug screening.</li></ul><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to patrol large outdoor areas, including uneven terrain.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.</li></ul>
