Job Purpose The Director, FP&amp;A will drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and long-range planning while maintaining tools and systems that enable scale and efficiency. This person will also lead monthly and quarterly review processes and play a central role in aligning internal insights with internal and external reporting requirements, including to the company’s PE sponsor. The Director, FP&amp;A will be responsible for leveraging the company’s consolidated and project-level financial models and leveraging those models to provide insights and tools for all key stakeholders.  Key Responsibilities  Planning &amp; Performance Review <ul><li>Lead the monthly and quarterly review processes, analyzing performance vs. forecast and budget. </li></ul><ul><li>Update assumptions and returns in coordination with Development, Project Execution, and Capital Markets teams. </li></ul><ul><li>Deliver key insights and recommendations to leadership through structured financial reviews and dashboards. </li></ul><ul><li>Own periodic reports to the company’s private equity sponsor, which provide clarity and key insights into the company’s performance </li></ul> Budgeting &amp; Forecasting <ul><li>Drive the annual budgeting process and regular forecast-to-actual updates. </li></ul><ul><li>Build and maintain forecasting tools to support real-time visibility into business performance. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data and assumptions that support proactive financial planning. </li></ul><ul><li>Communicate with and regularly update cross-functional teams on progress against budget </li></ul> Reporting &amp; Analysis <ul><li>Manage monthly KPI reporting, monthly updates for the company’s private equity sponsor, and insightful executive dashboards. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure alignment with external reporting requirements, including lender and tax equity partner updates. </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct project lookback analysis to evaluate financial outcomes vs. expectations and inform future project planning. </li></ul> Financial Modeling &amp; Forecasting <ul><li>Maintain and leverage individual project and consolidated company financial models. </li></ul><ul><li>Partner with Capital Markets team to align financial assumptions and support investment decisions. </li></ul> Systems &amp; Tools <ul><li>Maintain and improve reporting infrastructure, including Power BI dashboards and Power Automate workflows. </li></ul><ul><li>Embrace continuous improvement and identify opportunities to automate routine reporting tasks and improve data accessibility and accuracy. </li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. </li></ul><ul><li>6+ years of experience in FP&amp;A, corporate finance, or related roles in renewable energy, infrastructure, or related industries. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with project finance structures is helpful but not required. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and financial reporting. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate or similar business intelligence/reporting tools. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Highly analytical with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities. </li></ul> Benefits &amp; Compensation<ul><li>Competitive salary and incentive compensation</li><li>Ability to work remotely </li><li>Option to enroll in a fully paid Medical, Dental and Vision plan</li><li>401K Employer Match </li><li>Generous PTO policy (19 Vacation/Sick Days)</li><li>Smart, collaborative, and fun team making a tangible impact on our transition to the clean energy future and health of our planet. </li></ul> As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors UGE deems pertinent to the hiring decision. </div></div>
