This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical/electrical engineering background who thrives on solving problems, building customer relationships, and delivering high-quality service.Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas<ul><li>Carry out service and maintenance tasks on industrial and commercial heating and refrigeration systems, producing clear and comprehensive reports on findings.</li><li>Install spare parts and perform service inspections in line with established procedures.</li><li>Troubleshoot and investigate issues, providing detailed written documentation.</li><li>Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment while ensuring all required documentation is completed.</li><li>Travel as required for job-related purposes.</li><li>Maintain safe working practices at all times, adhering to company Health &amp; Safety policies.</li><li>Provide ongoing feedback on market conditions to support business development.</li><li>Represent the company on-site with professionalism and integrity.</li><li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.</li><li>Identify service sales opportunities within the customer base and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Mechanical/electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining machinery.</li><li>Proven experience in industrial and commercial heating &amp; refrigeration (essential).</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2079 qualification (essential).</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2078 (Ammonia) preferred.</li><li>Strong technical expertise across a variety of machinery.</li><li>Logical and structured approach to fault-finding.</li><li>Innovative thinker and natural problem-solver.</li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of product/systems and industry developments.</li><li>Ability to build long-term customer relationships and contribute to business growth.</li><li>Commitment to customer service excellence.</li><li>A positive, effective team player with a decisive and action-oriented mindset.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
