As our Senior Manager of Technical Project Management (TPM), you will shape and scale a new TPM function that drives innovation, empowers engineers, and ensures delivery of mission-critical technology. Anticipate future opportunities, help shape product strategy, and ensure TPMs act as the voice of the customer in R&amp;D. </li><li>Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and senior leadership. Champion iterative, agile approaches that maximize speed and learning. </li></ul> <h2>Basic Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>B.S. (minimum) in Engineering or a related technical field. </li><li>6+ years of relevant industry experience, including significant leadership in program or project management. </li><li>At least 2 years of proven experience building, managing, and developing teams. </li><li>Experience establishing and scaling processes, tools, and metrics across an organization. </li><li>Experience delivering hardware and software systems from cradle to grave. </li><li>Proficiency with collaborative project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar).  </li><li>Must be able to design, configure, and manage workflows, dashboards, and reporting to ensure scheduling accuracy, transparency, and cross-functional alignment. </li><li>Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and reviews; able to balance technical depth with program-level decision-making then translate information cross-functionally. </li><li>Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented; thrives in ambiguous environments. </li><li>Eligible for and able to maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). </li></ul> <h2>Preferred Skills and Experience:</h2><ul><li>Graduate of an engineering or operations leadership program. </li><li>PMP, CAPM, or equivalent program management certification. </li><li>Experience leading projects in high-growth or defense-related environments. </li><li>Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in engineering or related field.</li></ul> ITAR REQUIREMENTS:  To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.   At Epirus, you’ll work with technical peers and great people—and get first crack at some of the defining technology challenges of our time.
