Boundless Impact Research &amp; Analytics (Boundless) is looking for an New Product Development Manager to assist the leadership team in the development of Boundless’ new suite of online sustainability products.The New Product Development Manager is expected to participate in Boundless’ product discovery activities, product development, and go-to-market efforts. They can work flexibly during business hours between 15-30 hours per week, in close collaboration with the leadership team (CEO, Chief of Staff, and Chief Technology Officer), and with our Product Analyst. This is initially a part-time role at $25 per hour. Our services include Life Cycle Assessment, Techno-Economic Analysis, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Footprint projections, and GHG Scenario Analysis, all designed to help companies validate their performance, mitigate risks, differentiate their products, and attract investment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Product Discovery<ul><li>Identify product discovery targets in untapped markets (mid to large private companies; public companies) to support product-market fit (PMF) efforts and identify user pain points. Conduct product discovery with converted target recipients.</li><li>Analyze previous customer discovery meetings to surface key trends and help inform what additional customer discovery efforts should be.&nbsp;</li><li>Translate product discovery feedback and signal into actionable product and feature needs.&nbsp;</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Product Development&nbsp;<ul><li>Research and analyze Boundless’ market and its competitive set for its new SaaS / online platform products to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.</li><li>Assist in defining product requirements and user experience needs based on research and customer discovery.</li><li>Research and assist in the development of frameworks for product validation, customer segmentation, and pricing strategies.</li><li>Coordinate product development efforts and own part of the process.&nbsp;</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Go-to-Market (GTM)<ul><li>Support go-to-market strategy development, including competitive analysis and market positioning.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, research, business development, marketing) to plan and implement GTM actions.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Present findings, recommendations, and progress reports to leadership on a regular basis.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>At least 3 years of experience working on new product development at startup(s) or scale-up(s) with an online platform / SaaS product lineup.</li><li>Hands-on experience of early product development and GTM activities, preferably in environmental impact measurement, ESG data and analytics, or a related field.</li><li>Knowledge of customer discovery methodologies and product-market fit (PMF) validation techniques.</li><li>Proven experience developing and/or implementing go-to-market strategies, including market research, positioning, and business modeling.</li><li>Strong communication skills via phone and email.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
