The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a talented Digital Content Specialist to support our South Asia research team in producing high-quality, engaging and interactive content.  As a Digital Content Specialist in South Asia, you will be part of the South Asia communications team to help elevate the design, reach, and accessibility of our work. You may also be required to support other regions where IEEFA operates. You will be a creative thinker with attention to detail and a strong background in digital content creation, report formatting, and multimedia production. You will bring a proactive approach and ‘can do’ attitude to help increase the impact and timeliness of our work.  You are expected to be self-motivated, proactive and a multitasker. Working as part of a remote team in India, you’ll be expected to be able to communicate effectively with other members of the team over a variety of mediums (video calls, Signal, G-suite, ClickUp, etc.), be comfortable with raising issues or questions along the way and provide insights into your work.  IEEFA is a NGO/non-profit that conducts research and analysis on financial and economic issues related to energy markets, trends, and policies. Our major research reports, daily analysis, press coverage, and other resources can be found on our website: <a href="http://www.ieefa.org/">www.ieefa.org</a>   Responsibilities <ul><li>Create compelling graphical elements such as charts, infographics, and social media assets (both static and moving creatives), that align with IEEFA’s brand voice and style. </li></ul><ul><li>Edit and produce short-form videos for social media and digital campaigns. </li></ul><ul><li>Design and format IEEFA publications and reports in Adobe InDesign, ensuring consistency with brand and style guidelines. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage and format email newsletters (HubSpot or similar tools), including design, layout, and dissemination. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with analysts and the communications team to distill complex technical information into clear, accessible, and engaging content. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with the management of the South Asia region’s website content for reports and related collateral, including creation of landing pages and content publishing. </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to global and regional communications initiatives and projects as required. </li></ul><ul><li>Commitment to IEEFA’s mission to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable, diverse and profitable energy economy. </li></ul> Required Qualifications <ul><li>2+ years of experience in digital content creation, design, or communications. </li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in design, communications, Media, or related field. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign, and basic video editing software. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with HubSpot or other newsletter/email marketing platforms. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong writing and editing skills, with proven ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. </li></ul><ul><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative team environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work remotely while liaising with IEEFA analysts and the communications team globally using online platforms. </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience creating motion graphics or animations for digital platforms. </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress, or similar). </li></ul><ul><li>Interest or familiarity with energy, climate, or sustainability topics. </li></ul> Compensation and Benefits Full-time 12-month fixed-term employment contract with the option of extension by mutual agreement and a market competitive remuneration. Pay rates are also based on education, skill, experience level and internal equity.  Work Schedule Full-time, 5 days/week, with occasional evening or weekend work as required.  Travel Some travel is required. All team members attend IEEFA’s annual/regional conference and team retreat.   Physical Demand and Work Environment Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer.
